RESIST

If you blog and you abhor the Police State that the UK has become, or the way our rights have been eroded then start to use the word “RESIST” as a category and tag in all your posts.

Feel free to use the image below as well on your blogs, comments etc.

Let’s get it out there.

    I _really_ like it.

    But…

    A quick google of resist and it throws up some sinister stuff (resist dot com for one).

    It needs a bit more of a brand, maybe a web site etc. so that people don’t google looking for it and finding a load of weird stuff.

    Appreciate the comment my friend and LOVE your blog – keep writing!

    The tag RESIST was more about raising chatter, raising noise, raising awareness. The word will come to symbolise something when it’s time is right. I did consider making a website but the idea then coalesces around SOMEWHERE rather than something. However intangible the notion of resistance is, in the end it becomes a tangible something, manifest in either the violent action or the silent reaction.

    Revolution is driven by people, by individuals and as an act of resistance we all have a part to play. The danger with creating a central point for the meme is that the central point BECOMES the manifestation and we all know that truly, the manifestation of RESIST is found on the street and in the homes.

    It is but a start, but all revolutions have a starting point ;)
