It’s your vote….make sure you use it.
There is no such thing as a wasted vote if cast, the mere act of marking a ballot paper in any way is important.
You cannot waste that which is cast in the pursuit of your own democratic vision. Today is the deadline for registering to vote and it is important to make sure your voice, however small and insignificant it feels, is heard in the general election.

I am not a big fan of the state, not a huge fan of what our system has become but I will not allow the value of my vote (which our forefathers dies to protect) to be reduced by the LibLabCon cant-put-a-fag-paper-between-them “political” parties and their oh-so-namby-pamby “Policies”.
Let’s be honest, if we REALLY thought our votes didn’t matter we revolt right….right?
So, make sure you have registered to vote and if you are still thinking “What’s the point” take a look at the memorial to the fallen in your town/city/village, look at the names of those who cannot now be heard because along with any other reason, they gave their lives so we might be free to vote and to be heard.
Don’t tread on the memory of those fallen by not voting. It’s a small act of defiance against a political system that has failed those who served and died for it but, that does not mean we have to fail our fallen to.
Even if you go there, spoil your ballot paper by writing “A plague on all your houses, you degenerate bunch of thieving, troughing, fascist pig-dogs!”, at least you had your say and did not waste the opportunity to be heard, if even by some functionary at County Hall. A small voice is the start of a huge cry of “REVOLUTION!!!”

Besides, how are we going to change the country if we can’t bothered to haul ourselves away from our TV’s and microwave meals, our lives of sullen existence watching other people succeed and feeling bitter about a world that does not care, if we don’t?
This world will change when we do, oh hang it, how about “We are the people we have been waiting for” or any number of cliche’s…
In the end, just get out there and vote…..no vote, no voice, no meaning, no matter, no hope, no future, no past, no living, no life….no way!
Whatever you’re angry about, whatever you want to change (which for me is)
- The Surveillance of people by the state
- The Green Agenda
- State interference in our lives at every level
- Exorbitant Taxation
- An Education Policy that is wrecking the future of our country through social engineering
- National ID, DNA Retention, CCTV & Speed Cameras…..
(I could go on!) then a vote cast is a chance for change. I know that one party, one candidate might not meet all your needs but that is where dialogue comes in, communicate with your MP, MAKE them accountable, make them aware of your scrutiny. But if you don’t vote how can you???
